Snowy Marsh
This is the Branch Brook Marsh, right on the boarder between Kennebunk and Wells Maine, where Route 9 crosses. And it is from our Saturday morning snow. As the cold front pushed the snow clouds out to sea, the sky was full of strange light. Processing for HDR effect in Snapseed brought all the drama out. Literally a few moments later, the sun broke through out over the sea, and within an hour this was all gone.
Samsung Smart Camera WB800F in Smart Auto. I biased the exposure for the sky, by simply tipping the camera up a bit and locking exposure, then reframing. I also zoomed in to about 46mm equivalent field of view to show more of the detail in the snowy trees. ISO 100 @ 1/750th @ f3.3. Processed in Snapseed on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. HDR Scene filter to taste, then some Ambiance and Shadow control, Sharpen and Structure.
